This article aims to reflect on the studio as a place/space in creative processes in Visual Arts, as well as its relevance in the intellectual, critical, and reflective construction of the artist. Thus, it is possible to understand what this atelier would be in the Visual Arts, its conceptualization, purpose, and space/time for the construction of a being artist in the creative process. From this perspective, it is proposed to move through artistsa?? workshops, in particular, William Kentridgea??s studio, where it is pointed out the presence of objects inserted in this context, investigating the chair as a possible driver in the??cognitive processes of creation. As a result of this study, it is also intended to investigate the concepts of space and place, as well as the dialectic between poetics and aesthetics in the creation processes, anchoring itself in the studies of Ren?? Passeron (1997) and Luigi Pareyson (2001), which at this time will only be adopted to elucidate the beginning of the research.
