Ihr verstärkter Einsatz trägt insbesondere zur Reduzierung der akustischen Belastung durch Warnsignalgeber und damit zum Umweltschutz bei. Für den Einsatz von Systemen Fester Absperrungen ist eine bahntechnische Freigabe durch die Fachstelle Arbeitsschutz/Brandschutz der DB Netz AG notwendig, die eine Zertifizierung durch Konformitätsbewertung beinhaltet. Dies führt zur Verwendung von stabilen und technisch sicheren Systemen.
