SBB Cargo, the freight transport division for the „Schweizerische Bundesbahnen SBB" anticipates diverse opportunities in automation and digitization, through improving interactions with customers, increasing internal efficiency, and simplifying production processes. Thus, numerous projects were started with the aim of leaving the laboratory as quickly as possible and generating concrete benefits.
