North American ports, marine terminal operators and rail intermodal yards order over 200 dockside container cranes, RTGs, and straddle carriers every year. Each of these purchases includes at least one new spreader. Often, the spreader is included as part of the crane purchase package and is manufactured by the equipment manufacturer.
