Global water tool maps industry water use

New, customized versions of the Global Water Tool, developed in 2007 by CH2M HILL for the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, were launched during the World Water Week in Stockholm, Sweden (August 20-27,2011) for oil and gas companies and power utilities. IPIECA, the global oil and gas industry association for environmental and social issues, in collaboration with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the US consultancy CH2M HILL, developed the IPIECA Global Water Tool for Oil and Gas.
