1. A total of 1,267 vessels of a combined 79.7m dwt and 30.2m CGT were reported delivered in full year 2018, representing a year-on-year decrease of 19% in dwt terms and 10% in terms of CGT. In full year 2019, deliveries are currently projected to remain steady, reaching a total of 80.7m dwt, before declining to 73.5m dwt in full year 2020. 2. In the bulkcarrier sector, 289 vessels of a combined 28.0m dwt and 5.9m CGT were reported delivered in full year 2018, a year-on-year decrease of 27% and accounting for a 35% share of total 2018 output in dwt terms. The Capesize sector accounted for 51% of total 2018 bulkcarrier output in dwt terms, with 51 units of 14.3m dwt reported delivered, while the Panamax sector accounted for a 20% share, with 66 units of 5.5m dwt reported delivered. Two Capesize units were reported delivered in December, including a 399,251 dwt Valemax delivered by Beihai Shipbuilding.
