1. As of end 2018, the global orderbook stood at 3,118 vessels of 207.8m dwt and 79.9m CGT, a 6% year-on-year decline in size in CGT terms. The bulker orderbook accounts for the largest share of the total orderbook in both dwt and CGT terms (43% and 23% respectively) as of end 2018, with 810 units of 88.5m dwt and 18.0m CGT on order. 2. In tonnage terms, the tanker orderbook declined in size by 11% in 2018, to stand at 677 vessels of 67.1m dwt as of end December. In numerical terms, the product tanker orderbook accounts for 40% of the total tanker orderbook, with 268 vessels of 14.2m dwt on order as of end 2018, while crude tankers account for 37% of tankers on order, with 249 units of 49.8m dwt.
