CEPIUG 10th Year Anniversary Conference, Milan, Italy, September 2018

It's hard to believe how fast the 10 years have flown by since the Confederacy of European Patent Information User Groups (CEPIUG) was officially established on 6 March 2008 [1]. Over this past decade, the CEPIUG has grown from seven to 12 user groups and more than 1000 members across Europe. To commemorate and celebrate this important milestone, CEPIUG members collaborated with the prestigious Politecnico di Milano to hold the CEPIUG's inaugural conference at the Politecnico's Campus Bovisa in Milan, Italy from 9-11 September 2018 as a not-for-profit event. Being held at Milan's oldest university gave this conference a scholarly atmosphere as we took our seats in the lecture halls to take in the high calibre three day conference program with over 50 speakers [2]. The scope of the program and the many associated activities and exhibits precludes the ability to report on all aspects.
