The GBU-39 Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), formerly Small Smart Bomb (SSB), is a small, lightweight bomb accurate enough (three m CEP) to replace the current 2,000-lb un-guided penetrator. The weapon uses a differential GPS seeker and the new Hard Target Smart Fuze.
