The disappearing art of guadameci

Guadameci leather artist Jorge Centofanti recently hosted an 'Illumination Series' exhibition workshop atrnAtelier des Arts in Puylaurens, France. A specialrnpreview was held on June 4, welcoming about 65 guests including tannery owners from Mazamet, gallery owners, interior designers, architects and artists. The local mayor and culture secretary were also important guests and five works were sold during the course of the day. An official opening ceremony took place on June 11, with the actual exhibition running through to July 12.
