Judges for the Tannery of the Year Awards 2013 were kind enough to give up their time in the build-up to the final in Hong Kong in March to read all nine detailed reports, as published over the previous year in World Leather, and, on the day of the final, to hear presentations from each tannery. The judges for the 2013 final were Dr Patricia Casey, representing the International Union of Leather Technologists and Chemists Societies, Kim Reid, head of leadership and talent at British Airways, Paul Pearson, representing the International Council of Tanners, and Ivan Kral, representing the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).
