Studied in the Dermochimica laboratories, the application of Nemomilling products directly on the crust is can be recommended since its action revives, softens and improves the quality of the leather, in particular when large quantities have remained in stock for a long time before proceeding with the finishing operations or, alternatively, if the leather needs to face long journeys. When used on empty, dry leathers or those lacking softness from the retannage, it manages to improve the quality of the final products while enhancing their characteristics. It can also allow leathers to attain a better softness, uniformity and fullness through short dry milling times compared to traditional operations; it can also increase the thickness without weighing down the fibres and, more importantly, without highlighting the defects.
