Acupuncture treatment of 55 cases of acute bacillary dysentery

The therapeutic effect of acupuncture on bacillary dysentery was observed in 55 patients suffering from acute bacillary dysentery. Bilateral Tianshu (ST 25) and Zhsanli (ST 36) points were chosen as the main points and Quchi was added for those with high fever. All the patients in this in- vestigation were cured after one course of acupuncture treatment.
