The new model features the same basic machine dimensions, linkage, and main hydraulic valve as its predecessor. However, the new PW160-11 benefits from advances in technology that improve versatility, efficiency and operator comfort. Features include joystick steering, an integrated system for controlling tools and factor-installed quick couplers.The machine also has KOMTRAX telematics and the Komatsu CARE maintenance programme, boosting fleet management and support, protecting the machine againstmisuse and allowing maximum efficiency and uptime.The engine has a Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (KDOC) and a new integrated Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system to furtherreduce NOx emissions by 80% using AdBlue.The engine's electronic control system manages the airflow rate and the fuel injection, combustion parameters and aftertreatment functions. It has a new Auto-dle Shutdown system that prevents unnecessary fuel consumption and automatically shuts the engine off and applies the parking brake and hydraulic lock after a preset idle time limit.
