Conrad delivers crane barge to Corps Little Rock District

Conrad Industries, Morgan City, La., recently delivered a new 260'x84'xl2' crane barge to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Little Rock (Ark.) District.rn"It's going to be used for maintenance of the Montgomery Point Lock and Dam," Joe Cieslak, senior ship's surveyor for the Corps, said by telephone from Morgan City, where testing of the new barge's crane was takingrnplace. "Things are going very well so far. Montgomery Point Lock and Dam is now about five years old. It's going to need some maintenance. That's why we built this barge."
