CAT USES HARLEY TUG IN EPA TIER 3 FIELD STUDY

Late last year, Caterpillar Marine Power Systems installed two Caterpillar 3512C HD Tier 3 compliant marine propulsion engines in the Harley Marine Services tug John Quigg. The tug, which operates in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area, is participating in a field study of U.S. EPA Tier 3 compliant marine propulsion engines. Each 3512C HD engine provides 2,250 hp at 1,800 rpm.
