Scottish fabric company Lochcarron of Scotland hasrnannounced the formation of fabric design brand Hinnigan as an independent company. For the past two years Hinnigan has operated as a division of Lochcarron of Scotland and the two companies will now operate independently to focus on their individual brand and market development. Hinnigan was originally established in 2001 by Anna and Brian Hinnigan and the pair will continue to build the brand, trading under the new company name of Brian Hinnigan Ltd. The distinctive Hinnigan style has been inspirational to fashion houses including Bill Blass, Paul Costelloe, Ann-Louise Roswald, Eley Kishimoto, Agnes B, Pringle and Matthew Williamson.
