In just a year since the Bradford, West Yorkshire fabric company Joseph H Clissold and its locally-based suppliers established the Yorkshire Collaborative Project to create a special new fabric range called Castle Hill, the project has moved forward apace, with strong interest emerging from Japan, and top European fashion labels. The Castle Hill collection demonstrates Yorkshire's outstanding and enduring expertise in luxury textiles. The yarn is spun by Global Worsted Yarns (a division of Spectrum Yarns, of Hudder-sfield), the cloth woven by Pennine Weavers, of Keighley, the fabric finished by WT Johnson, of Huddersfield, and the range designed, marketed and sold by Joseph H Clissold, part of the Holland & Sherry Group.
