Discover Natural Fibres Initiative launched

International Year of Natural Fibres (ITNF) 2009 Steering Committee member organisations have created a permanent project, the Discover Natural Fibres Initiative (DNFI). Following the ITNF's success in 2009, members unanimously agreed to continue the co-operation between all relevant natural fibre organisations in the future, according to the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO). Henrik Kuffner, director general of IWTO, is representing the wool industry in the initiative and was nominated committee chairman for 2010.
