New Woolmark quality programme for India

The Woolmark Company has initiated a programme to check the quality of Woolmark-certified products available at retail to ensure only high-quality wool products reach Indian consumers. The programme, called Post Production Sampling, involves the testing of Woolmark-certified products (ie carrying Woolmark tickets and labels) randomly purchased from retail outlets. The products will be tested at the Australian Wool Innovation (AWI)-authorised laboratory, at the Intertek Testing Laboratory (ITS) facility in Gurgaon, India.
