Mongolia is to introduce a new trademark for its domestically produced fur and cashmere at the International Wool Textile Organisation (IWTO) congress. Meaning luxury textiles, the 'Tansang Shirhegt' trademark aims to support the growers and give the recognition they deserve in the international export market. According to the Mongolian ministry of food, agriculture and light manufacturing, approximately 80% of Mongolian cashmere and fur products are exported.
