Aquascutum saved from administration

UK luxury clothing retailer Aquascutum has been saved from administration after entering into an exclusivity agreement with Aquascutum International Licensing Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of YGM Trading Limited, the owner of the brand across Asia. Administrators received significant interest worldwide in the business and assets of Aquascutum. There were over 70 interested parties, including Manchester-based manufacturer of premium outerwear, Cooper & Stollbrand, which reportedly made a bid of £10 million for the stricken brand.
