Think of Savile Row and probably the last thing that would spring to mind is woolly junipers and slacks, but that is exactly what Anderson & Sheppard customers can now buy at its new shop at 17 Clifford Street. "One of our clients described us as 'pinning the tail on the donkey'. The whole thing is an accessory to Anderson & Sheppard," muses Anda Rowland, owner of Anderson & Sheppard. The new shop is a million miles away from the austere vitrine lined 'gentlemen's outfitters' of yore. Instead it is a relaxed, cosy place with friendly staff that feels more like you're entering a home that happens to have walk in wardrobes in the living room.
