Global yarn and fabric production up in Q2/2017

The International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) has revealed that global yarn and fabric output increased during the second quarter of 2017, with the trend expected to remain stable during Q3/2017. The latest ITMF statistics show that many regions saw quarter-on-quarter increases in all aspects of both yarns and fabrics. However, some areas also saw fluctuations in their year-on-year figures, suggesting that some may remain cautious heading into Q3/2017.
