Black Diamond launches 'world's lightest' Merino wool performance T-shirt

US outdoor brand Black Diamond has launched what it claims is the world's lightest technical performance Merino wool T-shirt. Available for men and women, the Rhythm T-shirt features Nuyarn Merino wool fabric technology and weighs just 95 gsm. Black Diamond said this makes it significantly lighter than previous wool shirts, while retaining the fibre's durability and performance benefits, including odour resistance, moisture wicking and breathability. The fabric is also engineered for better stretch and much faster drying times, making it ideal for climbing or hiking. To complete the hardiness of the garment, it is also machine washable.
