The Sustainable Apparel Coalition, the Sustainable Trade Initiative, and a number of global brands including Target, PVH and Gap, have launched the Apparel Impact Institute (AII), with the goal of galvanising collective action in the apparel and footwear industry. They hope to work with brands and manufacturers to select, fund and scale projects that improve the sustainability impact of the sector.
