I am a Climate Crisis doubter. My doubts stem from a multitude of sources, two of which are evident in Dr Jagels's article (Wood Technology, WB No. 214). The first has to do with arguments based on broad generalities. Dr. Jagels presented specific facts, and I thank him for that. Second, when we do get facts, we only get the half that support the Crisis Theory. Dr Jagels's chart shows the gross effect of different species on CO_2 but ignores decay, which would change the net effect. If the underlying rock is limestone, the net effect could (theoretically) be an increase in CO_2 released into the atmosphere by deep-rooted plants.
