Field weathring of plywood panels bonded with UF adhesives and low proportions of melamine salts

Materials and methods 5 plys plywood panels of okoume veneers and of dimensions 400x400x12.5 mm were prepared accord- ing to procedures already describe~1,2, by using as adhesive a glue-mix composed of a UF resin of U:F molar ratio 1:1.5 to which had been added in the glue-mix only 15/100 and 20/100 melamine monoacetate according to procedures already reported.
