DataWind selects Fusion Wireless to provide high-speed communications module for netbook product

Fusion Wireless announced that DataWind has selected the Fusion Wireless FW 2770 Module to provide high-speed mobile broadband connectivity to the next-generation DataWind UbiSurfer netbook.rnDatawind, a provider of wireless Web access products and services, chose the Fusion Wireless 3G CDMA module to be embedded in its new UbiSurfer netbook, scheduled for launch in the U.S. in the third quarter of 2010. DataWind's UbiSurfer combines an embedded high-speed wireless modem with Wi-Fi and LAN to make Internet access truly ubiquitous.
