SIGNATURE OPENS SECOND CANADIAN FBO IN EDMONTON

Signature Flight Support has opened its second licensed FBO in Canada. Edmonton-based Airside FBO Operations has signed an agreement to provide a fully branded Signature FBO at the Edmonton International Airport. Signature opened its first Canadian FBO at Montreal's Pierre Trudeau International Airport in 2011 through a licensing agreement with Starlink Aviation.The new FBO is targeting Edmonton's booming mining, business and higher-end tourism sectors. Edmonton International Airport will be the region's primary airport when the controversial city centre airport closes. "We have had proven success with Signature in Montreal and our other global licensed and Signature Select locations and feel very strongly that we'll bring the same experience to Edmonton," said S. Michael Scheeringa, president of Signature Flight Support.
