Over 100 business aviation operators from both Canada and the U.S. descended on Toronto in early December to learn how to deal with border issues at the second Cross Border Issues Conference developed jointly by CBAA and National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). Held the day after the announcement of "Beyond the Border," the Harper-Obama agreement designed to remove obstacles to the movement of goods and people while increasing security for both nations, the conference was more than timely - it was a unique opportunity to deal with specific issues and provide feedback into what will be a three- to five-year process of border improvements.
