Update on Flight & Duty Time regulations

In December 2016, CBAA joined with eight other aviation associations requesting a meeting with Minister Garneau to stop the imposition of 705 regulations on 704 operations prior to their release in Canada Gazette I in spring 2017. While our 604 member are not affected, those who operate 704 charter flights would be, and on their behalf, the CBAA has determined that four (of ten) proposed regulations are unacceptable : Flight Duty Period; Extension of FDP Due to In-Flight Rest; Unaugmented Long Range Flights and Standby.
