Peregrine Squadron (Boise, Idaho)

At our May gathering, Jon Fitzwater was the designated presenter and shared with the group how he became a plank holder of the Peregrine Squadron, 21 years ago. ANA required a minimum of 20 members in order to establish a new squadron, and Phil Wickliff recruited Jon to bring the minimum required membership up to 20. Jon was, and remains, an important part of the Peregrine Squadron organization. Thank you, Jon. It was great having Richard McPherson in attendance after more than a year's absence. Richard is our "token" nuclear Submariner who came from the loins of a Naval Aviator with a heralded career. He possesses a broad knowledge of the Navy from above and below the sea (and everywhere in between).
