Eldorado Squadron (Memphis, Tennessee)

On 20 May 2021, the Eldorado Squadron had its third meeting since relaxation of COVID 19 restrictions. We had tables set for 35, and we had to add a few seats. It felt good to see everyone and to mingle without masks! Commander Jerrel Walker, USN (Ret), provided us a superb account of his experience flying the "Willie Victor" during the cold war with a crew of 21 on 12-14 hour missions, aviating the giant four engine Super Connie from Midway Island to the Aleutians and back with only stars as a guide. Jerrel presented us with a view of a part of Naval Aviation not well publicized.
