Indian Energy signs 1GW wind deal

Independent power producer Indian Energy announced a deal with Trishe Developers to build up to 1GW of wind capacity by 2016. Under the terms of the deal Trishe will develop the wind projects to an as-yet-unspecified stage, before selling them on to Indian Energy. It is expected that approximately 300MW of projects will be commissioned during 2013, another 350MW by 2014 and the remaining 350MW by 2016.
