GIB passes investment target as bank's sell-off looms

UK government-backed offshore wind investor the Green Investment Bank (GIB) has acquired a 75% share in the 270MW Lines offshore wind project from Centrica and Siemens Project Ventures for £731 million (€837 million). As part of the acquisition, a 44% stake of the Lines project will be owned by GIB's dedicated offshore wind fund.
