Nordex wins first N149/5.X order

Investment firm Ardian and project partner OX2 have upgraded the turbines for its Andberg project, under construction in west Sweden. The site will still comprise 53 Nordex N149 turbines but with the higher 5MW-plus rated capacity, instead of the originally intended 4.0-4.5MW. It will be the first commercial deployment of its 5MW+ platform, Nordex said. Delivery is expected in 2021.
