Btoscastle uses wire mesh for flood defence

Geotechnical and erosion control specialist Maccaferri has supplied a number of its products for use in building new flood defence measures in Cornish village Boscastle. More than 7,000m~2 of Maccaferri wire mesh Reno Mattress units and MacMat-R reinforced geomats are being used to reinforce and protect a vulnerable embankment between the River Valency and a newly raised and extended car park near the village.
