Veolia to run RO plant in UAE

Veolia water to run the operations and maintenance part of a reverse osmosis (RO) desalination plant in the UAE as part of a €78M (£58M) contract. The plant, part of the F2 Independent Water and Power Project (F2 IWPP) in Qidfa, Fujairah, will produce 136,500m~3/day of desalinated water. The contract was awarded by Fujairah F2 O&M Company, which has been set up by International Power and Marubeni Corp.
