Career So Far: Having studied chemistry -at UMIST, he became part of the ICI Environmental team for the Castner Kelner site before joining the then Shell Chemicals atrnCarrington, Manchester. Within six months he was promoted to a leadership role. After becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt, he later made the transition to Quality & Operational Excellence Leader for the whole facility, in a role that included management and optimisation of the facility's multiple wastewater systems and cooling network, where GE was the principle water treatment contractor. Joseph then moved from Nova to the manufacturing arm of GE Water & Process Technologies, where he is now the plant manager for its UK operations based in Widnes.
