Glencorse Plant Takes Shape

One of the biggest-and most environmentally aware-building projects to be seen in Loth-ians is starting to take shape, according to Scottish Water. Work on the ￡130M Glencorse Water Treatment Works, which will deliver cleaner, fresher water to 450,000 people in Edinburgh and Midlothian, started in October. All the major excavation of the site, to effectively create the hole in which the new water treatment building will be built, has now been completed.
