Eurovac says its latest gully emptier has been designed to help operators make cost savings as well as deliver performance. Central to the design of the new machine is an auxiliary engine thatallows the legal use of red diesel to provide power to drive all operations.rnThis is cheaper than using white diesel.rnLast year,Eurovac sought clarity from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) which stated that red diesel is permitted for legal use,providing it does not enter the engine that is used for propelling the vehicle,even when stationary of off the highway (Section 12 [3] of the Hydrocarbon Oil Duties Act 1979).
