Balfour boosted by ￡200M AMP5 work

Balfour Beatty, the international infrastructure group, has won support services work worth about ￡200M from the Highways Agency, Yorkshire Water and Anglian Water.rnWork with the two water companies are for their respective AMP5 programmes.rnYorkshire Water has awarded Balfour Beatty a contract for the investigation, design and build of its water networks in the southern area of the utility's remit. The contract, is for five years, and is worth ￡70M, with an option for a five-year extension.rnThe work with Anglian Water covers its water networks repair and maintenance with developer services contract.
