Northumbrian water isrnusing the Ridgistorm-XL large-diameter pipe system from Polypipe Water Management Solutions as part of a flood alleviation scheme on a combined sewerage network in County Durham.rnWorking closely with consultant engineer Mott Mac-Donald and Seymour Civil Engineering, the main contractor on the project, Polypipe WMS re-engineered the initial product specification afterrnbecoming involved in the scheme's initial stages.rnThe company supplied 114m of 1,050mm Ridgistorm-XL in 6m lengths for the capital works scheme, together with 1,050mm fabricated elbow joints and two large diameter 1,800mm manholes.
