UKDN: sole supplier

The uk Drainage Network (UKDN) has signed contracts to act as the sole drainage supplier for the Wrekin Housing Trust (WHT) and the Central Housing Investment Consortium (CHIC). The two contracts mean UKDN will now be responsible for servicing the drains of up to 65,000 properties in the Midlands. Following a rigorous tender process, UKDN was selected for a five-year contract to provide drainage services to the tenants of CHIC members, with 50,000-plus properties in their portfolio. UKDN will be responsible for providing a 24 hour emergency service for many of these homes, as well as completing scheduled repair works. This was quickly followed by success in another tendering process, as UKDN was appointed as sole drainage contractor in a three-year deal with WHT, a social housing provider.
