Niplast tanks replace bulk storage units

Simpson thomson Filtration (STF), which manufactures Niplast Storage Tanks, has replaced two bulk storage tanks in situ for NGF Europe 25 years after the originals were first installed in the company's St. Helens site. Niplast bulk storage tanks were originally installed at the site in 1988 and the replacement tanks will continue to store solutions for the company. However, the contract brought new challenges. The original tanks were installed as part of the site construction, being lifted into place before the plant roof was assembled. Twenty-five years on, STF was required to undertake the demolition of the redundant tanks and complete the construction of the new tanks in situ, within the plant.
