CDA to deliver a third of DCWW's AMP6 programme

Dwr Cymru Welsh Water's (DCWW) new Capital Delivery Alliance (CDA) will be responsible for the design and build of water and wastewater assets above and below ground in AMP6, and potentially AMP7. Partners appointed to CDA comprise Skanska Construction UK, working with Hyder Consulting (UK); MMB; and Morgan Sindall, working with Arup. Galliford Try Infrastructure, working with AECOM, is a reserve capital partner. The new alliance will drive value in the planning and pre-construction phase, said DCWW, and the partners will deliver a third of its total AMP6 capital delivery programme, while the in-house engineering team will deliver a third.
