SIPOS Aktorik has secured a major order for its electric actuators from San Diego County Water Authority (SDCWA) in California for the RC Harris Water Treatment Plant. The HiMod product has been selected by the utility for WTP and pump station applications. SIPOS' valve control technology will largely be adopted in remote flow control locations. An initial order for seven SIPOS actuators were delivered in 2014 to SDCWA's Rancho Hydroelectric facility in San Diego and 90 additional devices are scheduled for delivery during 2015.
