The Environmental Protection Agency has declared storm runoff the biggestrnthreat to our water supply. Every year, millions of tons of pollutants - including trash and floatables - enter our rivers and lakes through unfiltered storm sewer systems. But storm sewer filtering is necessary, inexpensive and immediately available. Simple plastic guards from Heka Engineering can catch all large trash and water filters can sift out most of the sediment and much of the fluids.
