MILBURN BOATS 59FT SEMI-TRAD NARROWBOAT

We last looked at a Milburn Boats boat, their 100th, in September 2011 WW. Wavelength is a very different boat. Milburn consider it to be a fairly basic specification: but, that said, the price of around £100,000 includes an awful lot. The 59ft semi-trad narrowboat has a very smooth steel finish. Unusually, it includes chrome-arched Dutch barge-style windows, along with several chrome roof hatches. The bow is curvy without going over-the-top, though twin headlamps might not be the best idea! The aft deck has a single locker to port, which gives a larger open space for several people to stand. Underneath is a partly sound-insulated engine compartment, with a Beta 43hp engine, large silencer, horizontal calorifier and large battery bank (four 125Ah domestics).
